Music officeAlbum and single licensing
We handle the paperwork, lyrics council, music review and cover through to the music office permit.

An official release of a single or album in Iran can't go ahead without a music office permit. Lyrics, track, credits and, for vocal albums, the cover design all have to pass through the administrative process.
Instrumental works skip the lyrics review. Vocal works go through the lyrics council. We gather the documents according to the office's rules; we don't promise a fixed issue date, because the review timeline is not in our hands.
This is separate from concert production. Performance permits are on the concert page.
Process
From documents to cover
Document checklist
Lyrics and music review forms, the audio file or master, and the publisher's details if needed. An incomplete file gets sent back.
Lyrics and music review
Referral to the lyrics council for vocal works, a technical review of the track, and approval before the next stage.
Cover design
A vocal album cover has to meet the office's guidelines. We review the design so it can be submitted on that path.
Registration and deposit
We follow up legal registration and deposit with the National Library when it is part of the same file; we don't mix this stage up with performance permits.
Timing
The review isn't on our calendar
We complete and follow up the file. The council's and reviewers' answers can't be dated in advance; any promise of a fixed issue date is a guess.
If you only need a concert and there is no album involved, you don't need this page.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do singles follow the same process?
Yes, with shorter stages. A vocal album needs a cover and more documents.
I already have the documents; can you just follow up?
Yes. We review the file first; if anything is missing, we complete it rather than starting from scratch.
